Spectronics Corporation, Westbury, N.Y., released the MAXIMA ML- 3500C UV lamp, designed to reduce cure time for adhesives, coatings, inks, epoxies, resins, printed circuit boards, plastics and other materials. The lamp uses Micro Discharge Light technology, which the company says enables the lamp’s 35-watt bulb to deliver more UV-A energy.
BGF Industries, Inc., Greensboro, N.C., launched a new line of aluminized glass fabric called Barracuda. According to the company, the moldable composite has many of the same qualities of fiberglass cloth and is created with a proprietary finish that produces a highly reflective surface resembling the look of high tech woven metal.

New fork line with additional heavy-duty capabilities
Colson Caster Corporation, Jonesboro, Ark., enhanced its Enforcer fork line with additional heavy-duty capabilities and new engineering features for more aggressive environments and applications. The fork is designed for both heavy tow-line venues and medium-capability systems found in composites manufacturing.
ChemSW, Inc., Fairfield, Calif., announced a new capability in their chemical inventory systems that allow users to stay within compliance of the United Nations Globally Harmonized System (GHS) of Classification and Labeling of Chemicals regulation that was released in July 2009. The move allows users to define and identify GHS values for chemicals in the system database.
