Congressional Composites Caucus to Hold Staff Briefing

November 10, 2009

The Congressional Composites Caucus will hold a briefing to inform Congressional staff about the innovative ways in which composites are being used to improve the longevity and quality of transportation infrastructure projects such as bridge repairs and installations. Lightweight, strong and corrosion resistant, composite materials offer low-maintenance, long-term solutions to our nation’s crumbling infrastructure—solutions that can save time and reduce costs.

Experts from the transportation composites industry will discuss specific uses and projects and will be available to answer questions.

Speakers include:
Monty Felix, President – ACMA
Charlie McClaskey, Member – ACMA Transportation Structures Council
Dan Richards, Chairman – ACMA Transportation Structures Council

WHEN: Thurs, Nov 12, 2009 – 9:30 a.m. (Light refreshments served.)

WHERE: 2103 Rayburn House Office Building, Washington, D.C.

If you would like to make arrangements in advance to interview any of the speakers listed above, or need additional information, please contact Gabrielle Hampson at ghampson@acmanet.org.
