Rep. Griffith Responds to Latest RoC

Congressman Morgan Griffith (R-VA) issued a statement on Friday regarding the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) National Toxicology Program’s listing of styrene in the 12th Report on Carcinogens (RoC). After the RoC is approved by the HHS, it can be used by regulatory agencies and others for decision making.

Breaking News: Styrene Listed in the latest RoC

Today, Kathleen Sebelius, Secretary of Health and Human Services, approved the 12th Report on Carcinogens (RoC). With her signature, styrene will now be listed as a “reasonably anticipated” carcinogen.
